As part of the Tamburitzan Tribute Weekend, the Tamburitzans will present a special hometown in the historic North Side venue, The New Hazlett Theater. The longest running live stage show in the country, the Tamburitzans will present a special performance of their 83rd season show Symbols: Expressions of Culture, sharing folk traditions with all ages. Through music, song, and dance Symbols: Expressions of Culture showcases beauty and brilliance of traditions from around the globe. Woven as a tapestry of Croatian, Georgian, Nordic, Russian, Serbian, Polish, Celtic and Bulgarian cultures, audiences will be transported to folk celebrations through intricate choreography, mesmerizing music, and unique voices. A memorable experience like no other!

The performance will start at 7:00 pm, with a two hour run time and 15 minute intermission. Immediately following the show, attendees are invited to a post show reception with light hors d'oeuvres by Black Radish Kitchen and live music by Rudy Grasha. A cash bar will be available. Tickets are $48 and include admission to the post show reception and a SYMBOLS souvenir book. Parking is available on street or at the NOVA Place Garage.
